Red Feline On The Cross – Chapter 1

Red Feline on the Cross – Chapter One – The House
When I began playing the role of Red Feline I was not sure who she was and why she was the way she was. After a few more experiences with this character, after the Inquisition experience, and particularly after incarnating another similar character for a feature film, I began to wonder where Red Feline was going and if she would or could go on. That was and is my question. Where is Red Feline going? To know this I knew I had to know where she came from. I wanted to learn more about her. Did I know that crazy redhead enough? Was she a bit like me? Or was I like her?I’m learning more about her now because it seems she will go on, she’s beyond me now, she has taken a life of her own. I will embody her again, of course, but before I do I must know why she’s the way she is and to be able to do that I must find her roots and once I reach those depths, I can start my exploration. Who better than JJ to give me a clue to her beginning?I’m learning why Red Feline is the way she is and why she’s drawn to live the experience of the cross and what she will gain from it.Camille
The story of Red Feline begins as she walks to an old house in the center of an unnamed city high in the Andes. The house stands in contrast with the buildings surrounding it. Most of the structures are from the late 50’s and on. Some high-rises as recent as the 80’s.The house is abandoned, a family conflict over inheritence prevents its sale for what most of the old structures in the area were sold for: their destruction to be replaced by the new buildings of the growing metropolis. For Red Feline this house is the best thing the entire city has and now she’s about to break into it to explore it, to find what this ghost of a house holds.Margot
